The Future

In year 2009, China Airlines will move the Corporate Head Office and Crew Training and Dispatch Center to the Taoyuan International Airport area, where a 360-room four-star hotel will start operation at the same time.
The project "Taoyuan International Airport Airlines Operation Center" will be located on a land area of 47,747 square meters. In the Training Center, the number of FFS will be eight in the beginning and will extend to twelve later. Other flight training facilities include three FTD’s, six MFTD’s, several FMST’s, three CBT rooms, nineteen briefing rooms, and seventeen classrooms for ground school. For the emergency training, two Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainers, several door trainers and a ditch pool.
The Operation Center is less than 1.5 kilometers from Taoyuan International Airport’s main terminal complex, and is only 35 km from the Taipei city. Once the MRT system is established in 2010, it will provide great convenience and advantage for China Airlines’ visitors.
